Covers somewhat rubbed, particularly along the spine bands and joints which have some minor surface tears. Corners slightly bumped. Volume 1 front hinge tender but holding. Edges slightly dust-toned and preliminary leaves lightly foxed, with text generally bright and clean. Frontis plates retain their tissue guards. Remains a well-preserved set overall. Item #453278
