Panel edges somewhat rubbed,with minor surface loss to the joints and corners. Spine very dust-dulled and with minor loss at the ends. Binding remains internally secure; some faint scattered foxing to the text throughout, with colour plates remaining clean and vivid. Contemporary reader inscription (1918) to the front free endpaper.
